Pastor Craig and his wife Portia were sent by the church to see the ministry of Wayne and Patsy Gibson
among the Piapoco People. While there it became evident for a need to finish the Piapoco translation of the New Testament. Upon returning to the states, Pastor Craig shared the need for additional funds to be raised. The church rose to the occasion to send the funds for the completion of the project along
with the printing and distribution. Today, the ministry to the Piapoco in Colombia and now Venezuela
has been greatly enhanced by the updated version of the Piapoco Bible in their own language. A return

trip in 2020 was to celebrate the completion of the project. Darrin Lanasky joined Pastor Craig for the
celebration and passing out of the Bibles to the people.
