As we begin this journey through Judges, I do not want us to take a straight road to get through it. I want us to wander the roads less traveled and see what sights God has for us. As we see God’s sights, let us wonder over His longsuffering, mercy, grace, and power to deliver those who had done evil, and see what His work in the midst of rebellious and wicked people. We will see that God was not and is not dead even when the culture is doing everything to sabotage God’s plans. No matter the evil intent, God will be victorious even when it appears impossible and hopeless.
